Retail Manager
Pay: $45,000 – $55,000 a year, paid hourly
Hours: 45 hours a week – onsite
Come join our team as we recycle and re-sell gently used goods, receive new inventory daily and provide a fun and unique experience for customers to seek out treasures. Our community focused team works together to accomplish all things retail for the ministry. Your individual skill and talents are important to us and add value to the team!
Job Duties:
- Lead and teach retail team using continuous improvement principles
- Provide great customer service with donors, customers, and volunteers
- Responsible for managing reporting from POS and Excel sales tracking
- Implement and carry out the lean principles of production
- Ensure team time keeping is completed for payroll and volunteer management
- Manage operation to reach sales and budget projections
- Collaborate with Director of Retail in displays, layout, branding, and marketing efforts
Job Requirements:
- Uphold the mission and culture of The Well
- Lead in an adaptive and energetic environment with a variety of tasks
- Lead discipleship and prayer for staff, volunteers, and customers
- Degree in a business or retail field, or 2-4 years of business experience, with a preference for employee management.
- This position will include occasional evening or Saturday hours (1-2x a month)
- Willingness to resolve minor technical and employee issues with training
- Ability to see in color vision, to read and to hear instructions from others; to regularly stand, use hands at counter height for grasping, holding, and reaching and to lift up to 50 pounds; to occasionally, bend, kneel and climb stairs
