Full job description
Position Summary:
The E-Commerce Online Sales Associate creates online listings and provides excellent service
following the core values of The Well Resource Center (The Well). This position is responsible
for listing donated goods on online platforms to maximize revenue in support of The Well’s
mission.
What you’ll do:
• Effectively identify trending, valuable, or collectible donated goods.
• Accurately research and write item descriptions using established processes.
• Lists items on online platforms.
• Delivers excellent service to internal and external customers, giving appropriate and
timely support throughout the auction lifecycle.
• Keeps work area organized and clean.
• Safely uses equipment such as a wheeled cart, z-rack, rolling tubs, and utility knife.
• Performs other duties to assist retail staff
What you’ll need:
• High-school diploma.
• Experience and working knowledge of antiques, collectibles, and jewelry preferred.
• Proficiency in using current computer technology, web browsers, and Microsoft Office
Suite including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
• Must be able to type accurately.
• Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to perform basic math.
• Ability to work both independently and with a team effectively and flexibly.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to occasionally carry, lift, push or pull up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to consistently carry, lift, push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to tolerate occasional variations in work environment temperature.
• Ability to be active (such as moving, walking, reaching, grasping) or stationary for long
periods of time.
• Must have visual acuity to determine accuracy of work assigned or make general
observations of items, facilities, or structures.
• Ability to repetitively use fingers and hands to work at a computer, grasp, feel, and
move objects.
