Ames, Iowa– The Well Resource Center is excited to join the Ames community, officially opening its doors to serve the Ames community on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The new Resource Center is located at 233 S. Walnut Ave, Suite B, Ames, IA. As part of this launch, The Well has hired Marcy Ryken, a longtime Ames resident, as the Resource Center Director. Marcy brings deep local knowledge and a passion for serving the community, making her a valuable leader in this new initiative.
The Well Resource Center offers individuals a path to find help and hope when facing life’s challenges. Knowing and navigating existing resources can be overwhelming, and The Well offers a local and supportive place where people can receive guidance and advocacy. Understanding that many factors contribute to a person’s situation, The Well takes a holistic approach, working with clients to build long-term stability. Through collaborative community partnerships and innovative programs, The Well helps individuals address root causes and take meaningful steps toward lasting change. Anyone is welcome to seek services at The Well Resource Center.
